This week a reduction! in prices for ladies' skates is announced And they are now obtainable for fed. A further concession to ladies is invitation^i^ets which admit ladies free on saxf night this we.elc. The children's carnival fixed for Wednesday has been postponed. Prizes for last week' s carnival were ' noi distributed on Friday as I>he winners were not in attendance. A grand impersonation and fancy dress •carnival is shortly to be held and}, as at other places, is expected to be a ifcresuccess. • '
