The executive 1 of the United Fire Brigades' Association of New Zealand is now circularising brigades regarding ihe literary competition .decided to be held under the Association's auspices, when the conference was held at Masterton. The, subjects, are:—- i (l)Firefighting, ancient and modern; (2) Should insurance companies* contribute to the upkeep of fire brigades P (3)How best to improve the fire service of the Dominion?
