BUTTER IN STORE
AUCKLAND, July 13. There are 275 tons of butter in store here, equal to 8J weeks' supply, when it is expected fresh butter will be coming in. The price locally is Is l£d wholesale and Is 3d retail, and an increase of Id per lb is forecasted. The indications are that there will be comparatively little butter left over for export of the winter storage.
