A VETERAN DOCTOR

Dr Alexander the oldest medical man in Scotland, died at Edinburgh on January 19 in bis ninety-seventh year. He was a son of the Rev. James Peddie, who was for sixty-two years a ministeir of a United Associate Congregation in, Edinburgh, a, position which another of bis sons subsequently occupied for sixtyfive years.
