LADY SOMNAMBULIST'S WALK.
A somewhat weird scene was witnessed recently in London early one morning by a few clubmen who were proceeding homewards along Maida Vale At thie gate of a large residence stood a tall, slim figure, clad in white. Tho figure remained motionless, as did also the spectators At length the "apparition" opened the gate, and walked stealthily along tihe pavement for about twenty yards. Just then a gentleman emerged from the house, carrying a cloak, whioh he wrapped gently round the disappearing figure. The gentleman took his daughter's arm and led her back home. It transpired that the young girl baa. since a severe illness, been a somnambulist subject for about two years.
