The opinion is now that the freehold v leasehold division cannot be brought' on. In fact the leaseholders complain that tne Government policy is too liberal to-the freeholders. The possibility of anything of interest occurring during tihe de^ bate is remote. The Government proposals so far make no provision against drunmydsm.
