OKIES* ASSOCIATION 1 INVERCARGILL, September 4. Some three months ago £120 was stolen front a .guard's yan betweeen Riverton and Otautau, but investigation failed to elucidate the mystery, though suspicion fell on a ocitain official. The whole of the money lias been found concealed, at the root of a tree near Thornbury railway station. Owing fco a close watch being kept by the police, the thief apparently got no chance to remove it. So far no arrest has l>een made.
