CAPTAIN COOK MEMORIAL.
GISBORNE, July 9.
The work of erecting the Cook Memorial will be commenced' in the morning. The fondatiom stone is to be laid on Thursday, and the unveiling ceremony has been fixed for Captain Cook anniversary day (October Bth).
