CHR.CSTCHURCH, July 7. A married woman named Jane Cross was found dead at her residence, Sydenham, about 3.30 o'clock this afternoon. Her husband, who is employed at the Islington freezing works, left his wife at home in good health on Monday last, when he went to his work, but on returning this afternoon he found her lying in the scullery dead, with a laig© portion of her clothes burnt, and her hips and legs con siderably charred Mrs Cross, though not seen at her house yesterday, was heard moving about at 7 o'clock last evening, and the accident m»st have happened since then.
