Betting : sto 1 Oblivion, 36 to 1 York and Old Chappie. Passing the stand the second time Oblivion was in front, with York second, but at the river the latter went to. the front, and at the sheds the order was — York, Oblivion, with Loch Lochie, Merrion, and Old Chappie close together. York came into the straight full of running, and won . by five lengths. 1 Time, Srain 50sec.
