The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. report: — Horses have Iwen in steady demand, thosft of a good stamp being insufficient for requirements. Heavy draughts, £30 5s to £41 15s; medium do., £20 17s 6d to £39 10s; hacks, £6 10s to £19 15s. Cattle. — With the exception of first quality, prices showed no improvement. Ox beef sold up to 22s per 1001b; cowb, 16s to 19s. Steers, £6 2a 6d to £9 12s 6d: cows, £3 15s to £7 2s 6d. Dairy cows, £4 5s to £7 10s; empty do.. £2 Is to £3 7a 6d ; calves. £1 8s 6d to £2 4s. Sheep.— Wethers, 15s 9d to £1 2s 3d; ewes, 13a 6d to £1. Lambs, in full supply, sold at late rates, 8s 9d to 15s. Pigs.— Porkers sold at from £1 Us to £2 16s; weaners, 7s 6d to 13s 9d.
