Lust Wednesday tho Rovers journeyed to Rahotu and were defeated by 11 to nil Rahotu \ver« " too superior," especially in the rear division. The home match Pirates v. Pihama resulted after an even game in the Pirates winning by 11 to 5. L. Popperill, MeSweeney and C. Pepperill scored for the Pirates (Mann converted the second score) and Graham scored for Pihama.
Some fun should bo witnessed when tho local teams Rovers and Pirates meet next Wednesday.
The following nre the results of Thursday's matches in the Northern division : —
Star Seniors v. Stratford: Won by Star, 10 to 3.
Tukapa Seniors v. Clifton ; "Won by Tukapu, 16 to 8.
■ atar A (first Juniors) v. Inglewood : Won by Star, 9 to 5.
Tukapa first Juniors v. Star B : A draw, there being no score on either side.
Tukapa second Juniors v. loglewood : Won by Tukapa, 12 to 5.
Waitnate I. v. Opunake 1., at Manain, on Saturday : — Waimate team : Young {3), Bourke (4), McKay, Bigham, Tarau, Good, Vine, Mellow, Christie, Glenn.
