A man named Tuckeiinan, the'owner of Blairgowrie, visitud Barcaldine, and, after drinking heavily returned home' on Thursday. Subsequently, Mrs Tuckerman was found murdered with a crowbar.

Tuckermsn was ditcovtrei wandering in tbe bush naktd, and raving mud.
