At a large and enthusiastic meeting of bowlers this evening the followiog important recommendations for the Bowling Association were decided upon:— That tbe present system of holding inter-club tournaments evtry two years,' and 'a biennial tournament in tbe intervening years be continued, and that it isinadvis ~ aßle to bold alternate tournaments in the South and North ; that the cost of the tournaments be raised by a pro rata levy on all affiliated clubs, the amounts to be fixed by the" Association; that irj,fuM>re all;inter.club tournaments,^ including 'singles and pairs,- be held' alternately at Auckland and Wellington, . tbe chatnpiori fo^iirs to take place iq)hp smaller centres. The second round of the bowling, tournament, whioh was interrupted last evening by wet weather, was completed this morning.
