A SCOW STRUCK BY A SQUALL AND CAPSIZED.

(PER PRBSS ASSOCIATION.) Blbndkih, September 12. The scow Oban, 40 tons, was struok by a squall and capsized yesterday morning at one o'clock, off Ketu Bay, Polorus Sound. Captain Bonnor and his son clung to the vessel, and were veßcued about 8 o'olook, The other member of. the crew was drowned. The Oban was in ballast from Wanganui to Pel orua for timber. Later. Andrew Anderson was the name of tho seaman drowned. He was 81 years of ago.
