The Speotator says it iaj monstrously unfair to represent him as the Govern* ment's evil genius. Other papers denounce the malignity , of the attacks. Reoeived Ootober 8, 10.40 a.m. London, Ootober 8. The following members have been re-elected unopposed for the following divisions and oities :— Anglesea, Abiog< don, Eddisbury Division, Chester, Basingstoke Division, Hampshire*, Bristol Weofc, Berwick, Rutland, Orwestry Livlgon, Shropshire, Wells,. Handsworth Division, Staffordshire!. Reigate Division, Surrey, Tamworth* and Stratford Divisions, Warwick, Thirsk, Newry, Waterforo, Armagh. Mid-Leitrim, Rosoommon, South London University, Devon South, Bridg. water, Cambridge Univerei'jr, The following have been eleoted: Plymouth, Mr S. E. Duke, the Hon. Ivor, Mr Winston Churchill, and Mr Guest, Conservatives ; Staleybridge, Mr White-Ridley (the Home Secretary 1 * son), Conservative; Hartlepool, Mr Q Furness, Liberal; Oldham, Ms a! Emmott, Liberal. 12,947 vottt were reoorded for Mr Winston Churchill, andl for the other Conservative 12981 The polling for the other oandidatea was :— Runoiman, Liberal, 12,709 • Crisp, Conservativ&t 12,522.
