BEciINGSALE, Manager Hawera Branch. r\LD A.ND NEW IIAWEKA. | Not long ago, in a business' house in this town, there hung a photograph of old Hawern, taken some twenty or more years ago. We vesture to say that present residents would hardly recognise any portion of tbis quaint little picture as belonging to out now prosperous and growing town. What memories would it arouse in the minds of tho few old identities were they to gaz3 upon this relic of by-gone days ! What changes have taken place in comparatively a few years 1 Tie town has expanded greatly, and the Enroll huts and whares have given place jto large and substantial buildings. AAong the oMestablished businesses th# have kept pace with the times msy bejmentioned H. A. Arthur's PrincipalOFTJ^lTUßß WAREHOUSE, whose present shop is probably the most commodious in the town. None too large, however, for the great and varied stock the proprietor finds it reces'ary to keep in order to meet the requirements of an ever-increasing trade. Probably no better assortment of General HOUSE FURNISHINGS could be found in any building on the coast. Inspection will convince anybody of this. Note the address— H. A.
