British Bye-Elections.

(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.)

LONDON, May 25. C. T. Eitchie, President of the Local Government Board in the last Salisbury administration, has been electel unopposed for the seat at Croydon rendered vacant by the resignation of the Hon S. Herbert.

The vacancy caused in the representation of Warwick and Leamington in the House of Commons has been filled by the return of Mr Lyttelton, Unionist, by a majority of 500 votes.
