Manaia, Jnly 5. At Otakeho on 22nd a good number cattle were offered, with satisfactory prices j the fat bullocks being extra prime. We. quote 2-year steers, £3 8s; store cows, JB3 to JB3 10s ; dairy cows. Mto JE6 10s ; 2}-year heifers, springing, £& 16s ; others, £3 14s to JB4 6s; 18-month to 2-year very quiet heifers, £3 6s ; fat bullocks, £6 11s 6d to £6 13 a 6d ; lightweight (butchers') cattle, 4>5105; fat cows, £4756 d; extra heavyweight cow, £Q 19s. At Kaponga, on the 29th ult, there was a large entry of cattle, chiefly dairy stock, for which there was keen competition, bringing prices up to £/J 12s 6d.
