SPIRITUALISM.
To the Editor of the Star. Sie,— Yocr remarks on the farce of humbug towards spiritualists I consider unjust and uncalled for! The Haoketts may or may not be what they profess to be for all I know, and I consider that all who praotice fraud should be punished, irrespective of creed. May I ask you if all your so-oalled Christians are perfect ? If so, then open your lunatio asylums and let all Christians out and keep the remaing ing spiritualists in. May I ask you it yon have ever sat for spirit communion? Then, ii not, I would advise you to do so. I have no doubt you are a sharp man to deteot trickery, but get honest friends to Bit with you and try it for a few weeks. You may be rather surprised at the result of your investigation. I have tried it for nearly six years, and I earnestly thank God for all tbe benefits I have received, both temporal and spiritual, through it.
