Arrest of a Great Forger.
(FEE PBESS ASSOCIATION.) ADELAIDE, June 30. Among tbe luggage of the German Nostrel were found 7500 notes which were remarkably good imitation of Bank of England notes. The German Consul also received advice to searoh for five dollar notes, but none were discovered. 1 The captain of the Lalliet states that Neßtael was a paßseuget with him a few months ago irom Germany to New York, and it is surmised that be disposed of five dollar notes on tbat trip. It was firßfc proposed that tbe polioe should board tbe vessel and arrest the man, but as this step opened up tbe possibility of complications the Coqsul placed the man under arrest, and be will be kept aboard the ship until leaving Australia.
