Wanganui, June 27. The weather at Waverley told against the number of entries, and we sold all that cune forwaxd. We held our first sale at WaUotara on Monday, the yards being full, and the attendance- large. We sold all out with the exception of some milch cows and one pen of ewes. The sale was satisfactory to all concerned. At Wanganui to-day a small entry came forward. Prices were in a par with those at the last Sale. We quote : — Cattle.— At Waverley— Milch cows, £i 9s to £A 10s; steers, £3 to £A; young steers, £2 4s 6d to £2 18s ; cows, £3 16s ; cows and calves, £4 Bs. At Waitotara— Polled Angus cows, £5 2s 6d ; heifers, £2 16s; bulls, £2 17s 6d tojß3j heifers and steers, JB3 ; steers, JB3 5s to £3 7s ; cows, £3 10s ; weaners, 245. At St. Hill-street— Fat bullocks, £7 3s 9d ; milch cows, £4> 10s to £5 ss, up to £Q 12s 6d; steers, £3 15s. Sheep. — At Waverley — Fat ewes, 7s 3d ; breeding ewes, 7s. At Waitotara— Fat ewes, 7s 3d ; fat wethers, lls 3d ; store wethers, 7s lid. Afc Wanganui— Store wethers, 9s 6d j breeding ewes, 4s to 8s 2d ,• ewe 3 and wethers, 8s 6d ; fat ewes, 9s. Pigs. — Small baconers, 37s to 555; porkers, 20s to 255 ; Bmaller porkers, 15s to 17s ; others, 6s 9d to 10s 6d.
