Arrival of Taranaki Reps, in New ' Zealand Team.
A Urge orowd assembled at the railway station on Tuesday evening to join in tbe reoeption of Messrs Bayly, Good and Lambie, who arrived by the 643 train. Ab tbe train slowed np, three ringing cheers were given by the spectators ; and the tbree reps, were warmly welcomed and congratulated on their success. A landau was in waiting, which the trio, with tbe Mayor (Mr C. E. Major) and tbe President of the Taranaki Union (Mr G. T. Bayly), occupied. The Hawera Brass Band, under tbe baton of Mr Higham, led off witb a spirited march, tbe people following up, the whole making a large procession. Crowuß of people were lined in Higb-street, ann cheered beartily as tbe procession passed. On arrival at the Commercial Hotel, tbree more ringing cheers were given for tbe returned heroes as they alighted from the landau. The reoeption waa a hearty one, and passed off splendidly.
