» There was a large meeting of the Exhibition Committee held last evening,^ when farther arrangements were macW^ Tbe report of Mesen Caplen and Wbittaker, who bad canvassed a portion of tbe town, was very satisfactory, and Messrs Milmos and Babbage were ap« pointed to oomplete to-day. It was re* solved to cbank tbe management of tbe Taranaki Herald for assistance given. Tbe order of tbe procession wa3 reported on, and agreed to J also the order of the opening ceremony. The different subcommittees were reported to be well provided with arrangemects. To-day all ii bustle and work at the ball. '
