LONDON, May 16. In the Honse of Commons, the Premier, replying to a question asked by Mr Joseph Chamberlain, 6aid the Home Bale scheme would give the Irish Parliament control of the marriage law. He added that the Irish people did not now possess, nor did they desire, a divorce law.
LONDON, May 17.
Mr Gladstone accepted Sir H. James' amendment to tbe Home Bale Bill declaring Imperial suprsmaoy over Ireland.
