In their first innings Gloucestershire have lost 8 wickets for 36, Radcliff being top scorer witb 14. Lath. The rain which fell to-day made the wicket very heavy, and the Australian bowlers were simply unplayable, tbe innings of tbe Gloucestershire eleven closing for 41. Giften took 7 wickets for 11 rune, Trumble 2 for 14, and Conmngham 1 for 12. At the conclusion of the innings play was abandoned owing to the rain.
