The prevalent wet weather has retarded business, and we have to note an exceedingly quiet week, without any alteration in values. We quote prime short oats at 2s 2d to 2s 3d ; fair to good feed, 2a to 2s Id ; dun and black tartars, 2s 3d to 2a 4d ; ryegrass seed, machined, 3s 6d to 3s 9d per bushel; cockstoot, 3d to 3}d per lb; onions, 80s ; potatoes, 60s to 655 ; prime cheese, 6d to 5Jd ; hams and bacon, 7jd to 8d per lb ; fresh butter, 6d to 8d ; salt do, over-Btocked at 7d and 8d per lb ; fre3h eggs are exceedingly rare at 2s per doz. The demand for Doultry is not at all brisk, and prices are very low; fowls,2s6d; ducks, 3s 6dj Jtjgrkeys, 7s ; geese, 5s per pair.
