THE HOME RULE BILL.

LONDON, February 25.

The County Down Constitutional Association have decided to Bend several thousand Ulster men to hold a meeting in Trafalgar Square, as a protest against the passing of the Home Rule Bill.

The agitation againsfc the Home Rule Bill is increasing in intensity. Portions of the Ireland Union Alliance and other Irish societies are preparing a campaign on the lines of that of 1886.

The apprehension in commercial and financial circles has not diminished the security of the mortgages which the land charges disturbed.

Viscount Wolseley, speaking in Dublin, stated that tbe North had his sympathy, since they were fighting for a union which must be maintained.

NEW YORK, February 27.

The Irish National League in America bas issued a manifesto condemning thft Home Rule Bill as ruinous to the welfare of Ireland. The financial prospects are described as a clever piece of juggling, ana it is urged that a Sovereign Parliament will alone suffice to meet tbe wants of the people.
