The Collet Dobson Company play "Wilful Murder" here on Wednesday evening, and there is every prospeot of them getting a full house if the weather is fine.
I bear the rink season is to be opened again tbis week under a different manage : ment. It is to be hoped there will be no foolish opposition 'this time, as the plaoe is not large enough to allow* it.
The Town Board are having the weeds oleared off tbe footpath preparatory to the show. My attention has been drawn lo the overgrown state of tbe hedge on tbe south side of Stafford Btreet acd to tbe overhanging portion of the pines on th east side of Ketemarae road. It would Rreatly improve tbe appearance of these two localities if they were trimmed before tbe show day.
I hear that Jasper Riddle is again laid up with bis leg, which was staked by Derry in the 440 yaras race at the sports on the 26tb of December last.
