HAVES' ALLIED CIRCUS.
The town should be very lively next week, as in addition to the races the enjoyment of seeing a good circus will be available. Haves Allied Circus is billed to perform on Wednesday and Thursday nest, race nights. The troupe is a large and clever one, and has received from tbe Wellington press high encomiums on its performances during a three weeks seapon in the Empire City. The Japanese are described as really wonderful, and the Broncho ponies are trained to do most astonishing feats. Mdlle. Lyola, " tbe lady with the iron jaw," gives marvellous exhibitions of strength. Tbe riders, aorobats, downs, etc., are above the ordinary, and the show as a whole should be a deoided success. Mr. Hayes will doubtless be remembered by many in Hawera, be having been a partner with the late Mr. Benhamo in Hayee and Benhamo's Circus, which visited Hawera some thirteen or fourteen years ago.
