In all cases when penalties have to be carried for winning, it shall be tbe duty of tbe owner, trainer or jockey, to notify the same .to the Secretary ou tbe night of Taeaday, tbe 17th January, before nine o'clock, at Wilßon'B Stratford Hotel. Nominations for Nos. 1, 3, and 5, (with neneaaaiy amounts) to be in tbe bands of tbe Secretary by 10 p.m. on Thursday, the 15tn December at Wilson's Stratford Hotel. Handicaps will be declared on tbe 3rd January. Acceptances and general entrances close at 9 o'clock on Tuesday night, lOtb' January, 1893, at Wilson'a Stratford Hotel.
