At the Haymarket, on Saturday, slips made 4s 6d to 5s 6d; stores, 8s to 235; horses, £2 5s to £6 2s 6d.

Cattle.— At Waitara, on Tuesday, owing to the rain, only a few cattle were yarded, and all sold at market rates. Calves, 7s ; yearlings, 41s ; 1 cows, £2 ; bull, 28s. Waiwakaiho. — The yards were fairly filled on Thursday, principally for dairy cattle, for which there was keen competition; some Jersey heifers from Mr. Bewley'a herd attracted considerable attention, and elicited very spirited bidding. Very tew steers were yarded ; calves and yearlings Bold at about late rates ; any good cows near calving sold readily; a lot of backward cows and heifers did not sell well. The sheep pens were well filled, and bidding was very keen, and everything is at advanced prices. Calves made 3s 6d to 6s ; good do, 10a ; yearlings, 20s ; cows (springing), &\ 10s to JSS 10s ; Jersey heifers (W. Bewley's) .£3 15s to £5 ss ; heifers in calf, 35s to 475; springers, £2 15s to JE3 10s ; fat cows, JB3 7s 6d ; bulls, .£1 2s 6d to jei 9s 6d; bullocks, £13 the pair; fat; wethers, 10s to 12s 3d; fat ewe 3, 10s 7d; in lamb, 9s j old ewes, 4s 6d s lambs, 5s 9d to Ba. Produce. — Butter continues very firm, and quantity fast decreasing:. The Australian demand ia good and likely to be so for gome time, I think.

Potatoes and onions remain at late quotations, with rather a slow sale. Land. — I sold 3 sections in Town Belt A during the week at a satisfactory price.
