Sculling Match.

HEARN v. PALAMOUNTAIN.

(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.)

WELLINGTON, April 27. Hearn has received a letter from the Chairman of the Riverton Regatta Committee, stating that that body are anxious to arrange a sculling match between the champion of New Zealand and Palamountain, of Port Chalmers, to take place at Riverton on the Bth of November, or any later date that may be agreed upon. The writer adds that if two men will each subscribe £25, the Riverton people will find .£SO, so as to make a prize of i-100. Hearn is quite willing to race Palamountain, about the end of the year, and intends to write to the Riverton Regatta Committee to that effect.
