All Nominations, Weights, Acceptances, and Entries will close at the Hon. Secretary's Office at 9 p.m No entry will be received for any race except upon this condition — that nil disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the Hon. Secretary, Hawera, entrance money enclosed, with name, age at time of entry, pedigree, and, in the case of handicaps, performances of the horse, name of the owner, and colors of the rider. Any jockey riding except in the colors entered, will be fined 2 sovb. When two or more horses start, the property of the same owner, a distinguishing color must be worn. i All persona intending to withdraw horses Are required to give notice to that effect to the Hon. Secretary or Clerk of the Scales one half-hour before starting. Any person neglecting or refusug to comply with such rule shall pay a fine of 6 soys. to the race fund.
