MANTJBES. Ite Fbbezing Compakt, auckiahd. Rulcunfa. September 6, 1887. Enclosed please find order. . . . In December I shall require a few tons good Bones and Superphosphate. The Bonfli and Superphosphate supplied last year gave good results. Although a dry season I have a good crop of Swedes. The Corn Manure also gave good results on the growing Oats. Yours truly, W. G-ardneb, UUkQger Hon. J. Williamson's Estate. Thb Febbzing Company, Attckt, and. Waitoa Estate, Waihou, September 2, 1887. Your Manures were used upon this "Estate for the Turnip crop last season at the rate of lewt. each of Superphosphate 25 ! per cent, and Bonedust per acre. The results are very satisfactory, and the ciop compares very favorably with that of the previous season, when Lawes' 36 per cent. Supri phosphates were used at the same rates. Our Swede crop has been carrying sheep at the rate of 160 per acre per week, and many of the roots weigh up to 11 and lGlbs. Yours faithfully, . , G. L. Grant, Manager. Thb Pheezikg Company, ArcKtwn. Pnnmure, July 1, 1887. Deab Sibs, — I wish you to know that I atn greatly pleased with the Mamire which I had from you last March. You will remember that I intended to use Bonedust only, but on your recommendation, and a good deal against my own inclination, I gave a 33-acre field of Swedes at my Te Awamutu farm a dressing; of your Special Dissolved Bone Manure. Ido not hesitate to say that the crop has been three times as heavy as I had looked for — that is, three time.-, as much as I had ever grown on the same paddock with any other Manures. Many of the Swedes were 30 inches in circumference. I have also used yoyu? Grass Manure on new grass with extraordinary results. The sheep running on this grass have improved very rapidly, and I consider that I have realised better prices for them as a result of the use of the Manure. En^lMi Phosphates, costing me £6 per ton more, have not yielded me results to be compared with those I have had since using yours— which is ever since yevC Vorks started. You may make any use you like of this letter. Yours truly. TCogbb Kit. CHEMICAL WORKS, "•"""■SESSBiffi? 11 "* AUCKLAND. l
