INNES & CO., k'BIN'IEHB, STATIONEHS, ANB BoOKBIITDKHS, High-street, Hawera. NOW PUBLISHED. THE STAR ALMANACK, 1887. PIIICE, ONE SHILLING. Opinions of The Peess. We Lave been favored with a copy of the Sta* Almanack for 1887. It is a surprisingly creditable production for ;i small town like Hawera, and the compilers aud priuturs may reasonably feel satisfied with their work. The almanack contains a great variety of the most useful information, aud consists of no fewer than "261 pages, not including advertisements. — Wellington Press. The Stau Almanack for thU year, printed and puWibhed by Messrs. Innes and Co.. of Hawera would do credit to any of the large offices in the principal coniinerci.il centres of the colony. Compiled with ability and care, adapted to the wants ot Qvcryoue, and containing 261 puges of printed matter omitting advertisements, the Stajj Al.MAh'i£K xhould find a place in every household throughout t\l<t district in which it is published. — Wanganui Chronicle, We acknowledge receipt from Messrs. Innes and Co., of a copy of the Star Almasac^ for 1887. As usual, the publication contains much useful information, and should be found very valuable by every settler along this coast. It contains very correct directories of the towns of New Plymouth, Waitara, etc, as well as Hawera, Normanby, and other places. Every year this valuable almanack shows marked improvement, and we mast congratulate the publisnerK on this evidence of success. The almanack is printed in first-class style, on excellent paper, aud we can safely say tliiit the general " jfet up " is equal to tbat o,f auy similar publication in the ' Colony. — Taramiki Ne«-8. \ Tie ab Almasack lor 1887, a copy of which ( has been sent us, is a very neatly printed and , somewhat bulky publication containing a large amount of information on all sorts of subjects. It should ensure a large sale, and we hope the enterprising proprietors will be recouped for the outlay they must have gone to in the getting of it up.— Tarauaki Herald We have to ackuowledge with thanks the receipt from the publishers, of a copy of the Stab Almanack. It is impossible to give anything like an adequate idea of the real utility of the work, for it contains 261 pages of matter, eiclusivo of udvertisenieuts, aud every page conveys tome useful information to the reader. In fact it is rapidly becoming a. settler's vade mcc am , and can give points to auy almanack published ou this coast.— Patea M»
