The Hauhau Disturbance.

AUCKLAND, July 25.
The Hauhan natives wbo created a disturbance at Hokianga, with the exception of those wounded, were bronchi before Mr. Bishop, R.M., at Rawena, on Saturday, charged wilh assaulting a European named Hearn, and with unlawfully resisting the police. Tbe prisoners pleaded guilty to the first count, but stated that they had been compelled to forbid strangers trespaasing, because of fear of theft, and because their kianga was tnpu. Tamah Euku and Kemara (the prophetess), were sentenced to two months' imprisonment, for assault ; Pengere, for assault, two months' hard labor. Young Erueru got two months' hard labor for assault, and three months' hnrd labor for resisting the police. TheßO prisoners are all bound over to keep the peace.
