INNES & CO., I'einiebs, Stationers, and Bookbinders, High-street, Hawera. NOW PUBLISHED. THE STAR ALMANACK, 1887. PRICE, ONE SHILLING. Opinions or The Pbejis. Wo Lave beeu favored with a copy of the Star Almanack for 1887. It is a surpribiuifly crediUible production for a small town like Hawero, and the compilers aud priutera way reasonably feel satisfied with their work. The aluiuuack contains a great variety of the most usetul information, and consists of 110 fewer than 261 pages, not including advertisements.— Wellington Press. The Stak Almanack for this year, printed and published by Messrs. Innes and Co., of Hawera woufd do credit to any of the large offices in the principal commercial centres of the colony. Compiled with übility aud care, adapted to the wants of everyone, and containing 261 pages of printed matter omitting advertisements, the Star Almanack should find a place in every household throughout the district in which it is published.— Wanyanui Chronicle, We acknowledge receipt from Messrs. Inr.es and Co., of a copy of the Stab Almanack for 1887. As usual, the publication contains much useful information, and should be found very valuable by every settler along this coast. It contains very correct directories of tho towns of New Plymouth, Waitara, etc, as well as Huwera, Normanby, and other places. Every year this valuable almanack shows marked improvement, tnid we must congratulate the jmV HtmerH on this evidence oi success. The almanack is printed in first-class style, on excellent paper, aud we can safely say that tho general " get up is equal to that of any similar publication in the Colony. — Tarunuki News. The ak Almanack for 1887, a copy of which has been sent us, is a very neutly printed and | somewhat bulky publication containing a large amount of information, ou all aoxts of subjects. It Hhould eusuro a large sale, and we hope the cuterprising proprietors will be recouped for the outlay they must have gone to in the getting of it up.— Tnranaki Herald We have to acknowledge with thanks the receipt from the publishers, of a copy of the Star Almanack. It is impossible to give anything like an adequate idea- of tho real utility of the work, for it contains 261 pages of matter, exclusive of udvortisemente, and tvery page conveys some useful information to the reader. In fact it is rapidly becoming a settler s tad* meeum, and can "give points to any almanack pmbli«h«d ou this coast.— Patea
