The Pall Mall Gazette to-day publishes a report of an interview between one of its representatives and Sir Patrick Jen : nings, ex-Premier of New South Wales. In the course of tbti' interview, the latter declared that the Australian colonies in bulk are in favor of Home Rule for Ireland on Imperial grounds.
Sir Henry Drunimond Wolff has arrived here from Constantinople.
Australian mails, per BeDgal, from Melbourne, June 14th, and Australian and New Zealand mails from Auckland, Jane 29th, were delivered to-day.
CALCUTTA, July 25.
The latest reports from northern Afghanistan state that the rebels are generally gaining ground. The fidelity of the Ameer's trdopp *t Herat is doubtful.
