There are no changes to note in prices for Igrain, nor will there, we think, be any till the harvest is completed; at present there are no settled rates, and dealers are operating cautiously. We derive supplies of new grain for the time being principally from the Marlborough district, and quote oats from Is lid to 2s 3d; oatmeal .£11 ; •aten sheaf chaff, .£1 10s; oaten straw, .£3 10s; flour, £11 to £11 10s; bran, £■!•; sharps, M 10s ; fowls' wheat, 4s 3d ; broken do. 3s sd ; maize, 3s 7d to 3s 9d ; barley, scarce, 2s lOd to 3s ; beans 3s 9d to 4s ; peas, 3s 6d; potatoes, £2 15 to £3 os ; onions- £7 hy £8 ; hams and bacon, 7d ; cheese^ sd ; honey, 4d to 6d ; eggs, slacker at Is 2d to Is 3d; fresh butter, 8d to 9d ; salt butter, Gd to 7d. Fowls rule from 3s 3d to 3s'6d ; ducks, 3s 9d to 4s ; geese, ss ; and turkeys, 10s per pair.
