(FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Auckland, July 9. Horses — An average number were yarded at the Durham yards on Friday, competition being steady throughout the sale, especially for horses of a good stamp, and light draughts, prices remaining as in previous week. Wool, Hides, and Skins — There was a good supply on Tuesday, aud competition was brisk. We quote hides at from 2^d to " 4±d ; skins, Is 4d to Is 10d; tallow, 12s 6d ; wool, in bags, 6d. Fat cattle were yarded on Tuesday in average numbers, prices remaining same as in previous week. Sheep — There was a large muster on Tuesday, competition being steady thronghout; fat wethers sold at from 12s to 15s 6d; fat ewes, from 10s 9d to 12s 6d. Pigs — A good number of good quality were yarded, and sold at late values.
