WASTE LANDS BOARD

The Waste Lands Board met on Mouday. Present — The Commissioner o) Crown Lands (in the chair), Messrs Syme, T. Kelly, J. Li\ingston, A. Standish, and Cowern.

D. McCracken applied to complete purchase of section 1, block fi. Xgaire ; T. Ecclesfield. of section 17, block 1-1, Kaupokonui ; A. G-. Johnson, of section 61. block 6, Waimate. The applications wevo accded to. EXTENSION OF TIME.

A. Harre, Manganui, and D. Brown, Ngaire, applied for a further extension oi time to fulfill conditions of their license

All extension o£ six month's was granted to the former, and an extension till the 31st May, 1887, to the latter.

APPLICATION TO TRANSFER

A. Blemierhassett, Otakelio, applied to transfer sec. 19. block 1, Waimate, to T. Owen; C. McCutchan, Manaia, sec. 36. block 13, Xgaire, to A. McCutchan ; J. Carmody, Marton, to transfer sec. 91, block 11, Kaupokonui, to C. Bates ; A. J. Boland, Pungarelm, to transfer sec. 5. block 9, Cape, to W. Brookes. The transfers were granted, subject to the usual 30 days' notice.

MANAIA DAIRY FACTOEY.

A letter was read from the Manaia Dairy Factory, asking the Board to consider the application of T. Miller, who was desirous of letting them have 5 acres of sec. 6, block 3 (deferred payment section), as a site for their factory. On Mr. Standish's motion, seconded by Mr. Syme, it was resolved—" That the Board regrets that the law does not give power to accede to liX application."

TR VXSFEH OF LEASE

Messrs Xolan, Tonks, and Co., of Hawera, made application to transfer section 32, block 8, blaughter-yard site to W. Shearer.
