The football match at Manaia on Saturday, World v. Colonials, resulted in an eaiy win for tbe latter by three goals and a try to nothing, The colonials outnumbered their opponents, aDd contained all the back players of the club, of whom W&Uer Bayly. &d the lion's share of the work. The matph committee met in the evening, and had by no means an easy task, the ballot, having to be resorted to. li was decided that players balloted o\*t pn, this occasion should have preference in the next match.
