GUESTS OF HONOUR

WANGANUI R.S.A. BALL Major-General Sir Howard Kippenberger, vice-president of the New Zealand Returned Services Association, and Lady Kippnberger, of Lower Hutt, were guests of honour at the annual ball of the Wanganui Returned Services Association. As they entered the hall orchestra and dancera struck up "They Are Jbliy Good Fellows." Debutantes were presented to them. Lady Kippenberger was wearing a gown of black georgette, with allover design in white beads, and silver fox furs. She wore a spray of orchids that had been presented to her by the ball committee.
