BOY SCOUT JAMBOREE
RAISING OF FUNDS Since 1 920 World Jamborees have been held by the, Scouts every four years, the last one being held in 1927 in Holland, where there were 28,000 Scouts, representing in all 31 different nationalities. The next one will be held during the middle of 1917 in the woods ot Boulogne, ,';0 miles from Paris. > As Lower Hutt is a young hat avowing city its citizens should give serious consideration to the sending of a contingent, and to do this it is necessary for a considerable sum of money to he raised The boys are working individually in an endeavour to raise as much for themselves 'is possible and the balance of the money will be found by various neans, including the carnival that will he hold in December.
