GRAND RECITAL.

Tlie T.ecital by pupils of Miss Kathleen Bartosh, which took place in King G-eorge Theatre on Monday nigiht was successful to a remarkable degree, for that very commodious , theatre was packed to overflowing with parents and friends of the performers. The stage was gaily decorated with lycopodium and artificial flowers. The programme included an infinite variety of dances, and the tiniest totts, though, some of them were babies, performed with a 'confidence and. naivete charming to see andl the frocks and fancy dresses were beautiful and fascinating to a degree, particularly in the Eastern Scena "A GUimpse of Fairyland," "Apple Blossom and " Ctome to the Ball, '' and '' Badi«s of The Dance,»' wihich more especially lent themselves to the spectacular. Altogether, the re* eital was a most successful and happ> afEair, enjoyed e<jually by perdformera and audience. Miss Elsie Jones accompanied the performers on the piano.

At the conclusion. of the programme Mr. J. M. Power, speaking on. behalf of the parents of Miss Bartbsh's pupils, expressed high appreciation of t2iis talented teacher's wonderful efforts in pro&ncing such. a. successful performance.
