BANKITIKEI BEATS HUTT

The Hutt Valley representatives had so frequently proved their worth in m&tcbes in the Wellington and Wairarapa district a that it was fully expected they would makcthings hard for Bangitikei. By dint, however, of superior . pbuy Bangitikei won by 9 points to 3. The forwards went at it with a will while the backs maintained their positions well and indulged in many fine passing rushes, the passes being clean and direct, and the naming straight and hard. Hutt Valley forwards, on the other hand, played without life, and the passing among the backs, was too much of the lob variety, and taken .by a colleague who waa too often standing still.
