CORRESPONDENCE.

A BRASS OR BRAZEN BAND

TO TIIK F.niTOK. Sin, —The public will be interested to know that Rotorua is not a good enough name for our Brass Band anil that tin' members coolly take upon themselves the name of Arawa. The reason they giye is to obtain the support of Maori chiefs, quite ignoring the fact that all the money has been given by residents for the Rotorua Brass Band. Now, they intend to elect trustees at one of their meetings when, you may be sure, none of the former subscribers will have any voice. Band matters seem to be strangely eonducted of late.'—l am, &C, F. Booun.
