In Sydney reoently a number of gentlemen interested in dairy pursuits attended at tho Fresh Food and Ice Company's yards to witness a trial of the Brookside patent milker. The patent is Mr "Withell's, and is operated on the vacuum principle the pressure being limited to about' the suction power of a calf. When the milk ceases to flow the suction is automatically cut off. The process can bit applied either to one cow or a score or more. The trial was regarded a success.
