During the absence of the Postmaster, Air E. E. Hirst, from Levin on his period of annual leave the duties of acting-Postmaster are'being carried out by Air J. B. Bateman. Mr Harry Atkinson, Commissioner of Patents, Designs, and Trade Alarks, and Eegistrar of Copyrights, has been appointed by the Governor-General the New Zealand delegate, to the International Copyright Conference at Brussels. He leaves towards the middle of next month.
